Welcome back to Gyanesh on Product.

Let me play into the cognitive economy and get your attention before this starts:

Here's the workflow I used to build NotebookLM as a windows app, yes the one you keep refreshing to check if it's made your slides and for which you don't have to comment "interested" or share your email id on a public forum:

This is a personal note, more than a newsletter, but its impact on my life is so profound that it deserves it's own little space. Now that I've shared my workflow in a picture without asking you to comment interested, I hope you'll hear me out on this.

Similar to most of my readers, my day begins with a new story about how Anthropic released another incremental update to claude that is supposedly disrupting another industry, or about how, recently, OpenAI lost millions of subscribers after it's recent deal with the Govt. of the United States.

On the other end, there was a cool little demo, that was released by Google somewhere in November'25, that showcased Google Antigravity.

...and I didn't discover it, for 2 long months.

This isn't one of those "you're left behind in the AI race, learn this, learn that, oh did you not know Anthropic released courses for free today?" discoveries. This is about a product, that has won my heart like no other product has so far. (Yes, even you Adobe, I thought of you as one of the greatest product companies to ever exist, but man, Antigravity has my personal crown for now)

So what is it?

Antigravity is an AI - IDE (Integrated development environment), you can think of it as vs code (a development environment, used by the majority of the software developers), but better.

What does it do best?

Build, ship, deploy.

A lot of you must have got on the hypetrain of Claude being better than Chatgpt, a few of you are familiar with NotebookLM (my desktop app version of NotebookLM now has over 150 downloads!) and a handful of you might be aware of claude code, or claude code with ollama or even open claw.

But then there's Antigravity. Free use to Claude opus 4.6 (yes, although rate limited, the rate by themselves are quite generous), free access to Gemini 3.1 Pro, GPT OSS Medium, Claude Sonet and Gemini Flash. All within an IDE, all within an environment, where context sits within the folder that you open, be it files, docs, existing code bases. Access to models sits on the right pane, and the center is where you see the show.

The image looks scary to non-devs? Well how about I tell you have the exact same functionality in this window too:

This might be one of the most important YouTube videos ever: Antigravity: Quick Setup and First Project

Antigravity has changed my workflows, my shipping speeds where most of what I build with it rarely seem as MVPs, but polished products (as long as you write a good PRD like me ;) or atleast prompt some LLM to do it proper for you.

In the last few weeks of playing around with it;

  1. I've created a windows version of NotebookLM, with features as windows notifications when your generations are complete within it, auto wake, and persistent login. Check it out - GitHub Link to NotebookLM-For-Windows by Gyanesh

  2. A personal portfolio website, that was designed in figma, and built by antigravity, deployed on vercel, check it out - Gyanesh's Portfolio website

  3. A bucket list app for a finance friend, just to teach her how awesome Antigravity is.

  4. A word document parser, that takes in LLM text and then formats it real nice on a word document, no more copy pasting and formatting like a caveman.

  5. More to come that I am gonna gatekeep ;)

There's no other product that really feels like it puts the user at the forefront and allows them to be the command center of a Quinjet (Marvel reference, Thor Ragnarok, basically a spaceship) and the world becomes your oyster.

I'll keep gatekeeping Antigravity, it's one of the best kept secrets today.

Try it out: Antigravity Download Link

.. and for people who're about to comment that there's something new that is a better solution than this, it's definitely not as simple. I tried Cursor and Claude Code with qwen coder 2.5 on ollama before posting this.
