T-shaped skills
in Data Storytelling, Consumer Behaviour & AI.
I think in systems. I build in products. I write about both. I make sense of complex products. Whether it's building B2B experiences that actually scale, or helping teams navigate AI integration without losing sight of the user — that's where I add value.

What people I've actually worked with say.
Faculty who taught me, managers who shipped with me, peers who watched me build. Full quotes, no edits.
I think this is one of the toughest assignments I have faced — writing a recommendation for Gyanesh. He has been in two courses of mine and caught the eye in the first one, a core course on Marketing, asking incisive questions and making decent points. I told myself this looks like a smart MBA student. It is what happened between these two courses that's making this difficult. Gyanesh approached me and offered to work on a research project. I warned him — the research we do is academic, world apart from MBA projects. He was unfazed, narrowed down a problem, collected data, analysed it, and almost completed the paper. He can take up complex research problems, make sense of those, and create a cogent output. Very few people, even researchers, can do that well.
Gyanesh combines strategic rigor, product knowledge, business acumen and thought leadership with genuine people skills. He possesses an exceptionally sharp analytical mind, particularly when it comes to product insights and deep-dive research. What sets him apart is his emotional intelligence — he balances team accountability with genuine empathy, ensuring high performance never comes at the cost of team wellbeing. The rare leader who thinks of others first but still gets the job done.
Gyanesh stood out as an exceptional student and student leader. He completed two of my most intensive courses — Business Transformation Using AI and Re-imagine Business with Agentic AI. In the Agentic AI course, his final project was nothing short of excellent — showcasing not just technical proficiency with LLM workflows and autonomous agents, but a keen sense of how to solve high-value business problems. His leadership as Coordinator of XSYS underscored his ability to balance academic rigor with institutional responsibility.
Across Business Process Management and Planning IT Enabled Organisations courses, I witnessed Gyanesh navigate complex frameworks with the clarity of someone who understands not just the theory, but the human and organizational dimensions underneath. What truly stood out was his initiative in orchestrating Envision, XSYS's flagship conclave — bringing together over 350 MBA students in a thoughtfully designed setting. He carries with him conceptual rigor and an earnestness to create impact.
It is my pleasure to recommend Gyanesh for his outstanding contributions on the IBM Sterling Order Management Product Management team. During his two-month tenure, he quickly distinguished himself as a proactive, responsive, and high-impact contributor. He took ownership of in-depth competitive analyses for strategic deals, providing actionable insights that strengthened our go-to-market strategy. He also collaborated cross-functionally to streamline over 1,200 business-critical RFP questions.
Gyanesh possesses exceptional data and backend skills that truly set him apart. His ability to navigate complex data structures and backend systems with ease is commendable and made a significant impact on our projects. What truly stands out is his outstanding work ethic and attitude — he approaches every task with enthusiasm and a positive mindset.
Gyanesh played a crucial role in managing our AWS infrastructure. His work on RDS databases and ETL pipelines was top-notch. He dove into complex tasks like crafting queries in subgraphs and conducting in-depth analytics using Dune. He seamlessly transitioned into a role focused on data and product, using data-driven insights to steer product development.
Gyanesh has sound knowledge of ML and is a great asset to any team. Having mentored him for the last year it has been a great pleasure to work with him.
Gyanesh quickly levelled up within the organization when the tech team was scaled down. He multitasked beyond his domain — demonstrating he can learn quickly and will gravitate towards solving bigger and more complex problems in future. His ability to learn, persevere and find solutions is commendable.
I had a chance to meet Gyanesh through an Adplist.org mentorship session. Gyanesh has proven to be a keen learner. His questions demonstrated his technical expertise as well as the sense of business.
From the first day I worked with Gyanesh, I knew he was a great person to work with. Even when he was handling multiple tasks on his own — despite how hard it must have been — he always had time to talk to anyone with a smile on his face. World class work rate and great human being.
Gyanesh joined Wall as a data engineer, quickly picking up everything related to blockchain data — research on data providers, building pipelines for indexing, subgraph SQLs. He later upskilled into a product manager, creating PRDs, technical documentation and program-managed execution. Mindset wise he is a go-getter, has attention to detail and is highly reliable.
Gyanesh single-handedly led our data team at Wall. He was instrumental in wallet analytics, maintaining AWS infra and managing databases. He excelled in partnering with B2B clients, aligning data solutions with business objectives. Whenever metrics dropped or anomalies occurred, he was quick to perform a thorough RCA and rectify them ASAP.
What sets Gyanesh apart is not just his exceptional skill in data analysis, but his innate ability to understand product requirements based on feedback from the growth team. He goes beyond crunching numbers; he translates complex data into actionable insights that have been pivotal for our product development cycle.
Let's build something.
Whether you're scaling a B2B platform, integrating GenAI, or need a strategic product sense, I'm open for conversations.
